Edra gives a lot of credit to the creative team that supported them along the way: “Each of them put in 200% of their effort and their love and their time just to make our dreams come true, so we can’t help but do the same for other kids who want to follow their dreams. Now that the results have finally been revealed The Lab are training so that they’re ready to take advantage of new opportunities as they come.
“We wanted to make a piece that would change lives because we knew that was going to be our last time performing on that stage … We wanted to make things that people could resonate with, that could change their perspective on life, and really genuinely make the world a better place.” SEE ‘World of Dance’: The Lab were ‘warriors of light’ during this routine, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house It explored themes of soldiers leaving for war and being welcomed home again, and it moved judges Jennifer Lopez and Derek Hough to tears. “We had three days to make the piece,” Edra explains about how quickly that final performance came together.
