There’s a lot of jumping around involved in the game (through the controllers), so coordination is an important aspect of it. However, because Scrat’s Nutty Adventure is a platforming game (more about that below), it may be difficult for children younger than 6 years old to play. At 7 years old, my son is at a great age for this particular video game. The video game is rated E, which means it’s generally suited for all ages, not just adults or teens. In the video game, Scrat is trying to get his acorn back from an alien civilization. And just like the Ice Age movies, this game takes place in prehistoric times. Especially since Scrat, a prehistoric squirrel, is his favorite character in the movie.
My son loves the Ice Age movies so as soon as I told him there was a video game based on Ice Age and Scrat, he became extremely excited. My son is very focused when playing Scrat’s Nutty Adventure.
